Oh wow! I really like what you've done here, Some Pig! Excellent work I'm not sure if I agree about Dany not being who she says she is/thinks she is, but appreciate the work and opinions/viewpoints that people have presented here.

What Some Pig has done is to gather just a small percentage of the inversions throughout the books. There are many, many, more. It is evidence of the ouroboros, aka the wheel of time.

Yes definitely a lot of inversions in the books! I have to say, while House Stark is my favorite, House Targaryen is a very close second. I find their house and history utterly fascinating!

If you have a pretty good recall about the Targaryens, you will better understand the Greyjoy chapters if you look at them as inversions of the Targaryens and Blackfyres.

If you have a pretty good recall about the Targaryens, you will better understand the Greyjoy chapters if you look at them as inversions of the Targaryens and Blackfyres. I think I get where you're coming from on this. But it's funny in a way, as the Greyjoys are probably one of my least favorite houses.

I think I get where you're coming from on this. But it's funny in a way, as the Greyjoys are probably one of my least favorite houses. I used to think so too, until I realized the titled ones were inversion chapters. Try reading The Prophet or The Iron Captain and replace with Targayen family members.
