I read through a lot of the AMA through the link Some Pig No Doubt posted in the other episode thread. Someone asked the director if Sansa knew Jon had died and the came back. He said he assumed she knew. So no definitive answer. Will Sansa not knowing make a difference in the future? So far the only consequence for Jon's death is the negation of his oath to the Watch. Gotta be more than that, right?

If the books follow the show, and Jon wakes from his death slumber because of ambiguous magic, with no witnesses, no recollections, and no change other than getting out of his oath and becoming an ineffectual wuss who wanders around the North for months... wow. Just wow.

Nah, Martin's got more imagination than the wonder duo. If, however, all Jon's death does is release him from his vows and he becomes even more brooding than he already is, well I may just have to Shireen the book. Then buy another, cuz, just cuz, ASoIaF.
