So do you think it is possible that Ned has some sort of mystery DNA mixed in that might make his children less susceptible to mortal wounds? Just curious because it does seem like some can withstand quite a bit and survive...I mean Bran fell how many stories, was in a coma but came out of it and was only paralyzed, not that being paralyzed is an only condition, but you would think given the limited medical procedures it would be rare he would have come out of the coma much less survive. Weasel Pie help me out here. What thread where you wondering something along similar lines that Jon, Arya, and Bran seemed like they couldn't be killed, and I said maybe that's because they're already dead? ninja'd! I think it was in the Small Theories thread. "What is dead may never die" meaning anyone who has been through an actual or near death may now be immortal or yes... dead.

It's kinda all the same, right? Life, death, second life, reborn. Unless you lose your head like Ned.

I had a similar conversation on Heresy and I suggested this: The inhuman Others were the Last Hero and his companions, changed into white walkers by the Children in order to fight against the newest migrants: the Andals. This would explain how the Starks were the Kings of Winter. This would also suggest they were defeated and warded with iron. The historical record is skewed, because the Pact after the Long Night was between First Men/Children and the Andals. For some reason the maesters don't want people to remember that they signed the Pact.
