George came up with a twist on a character that is dead on the tv show, but still alive in his books. I just reread this article, and there's something interesting in how Martin phrased the twist the first time, as opposed to this time. Back in April, before season 5 finished Martin said this:- He said a couple of decisions, not what he's saying now:- Sounds to me as if, back in April, he couldn't say that the character was dead. Sounds as if the character in question died last season and Martin, with his careful wording, didn't want to ruin it for views. That puts about 6 characters in the running then. And, of course, what is this new twist he's thought of.

Is it really a spoiler? Really? Not since HBO released the stills of Sansa and Theon, nope. But this might be... Sophie Turner revealed that Lady Stoneheart will resurrect Jon Snow as a vengeful white walker. I know that was a joke but I still like it

Thats good. I liked it. Funny that Barristan is given Jaime's role as the Kingsguard to hear the news of times a changin' from Rhaegar. And Lyanna's name is pronounced Leeanna? Whaaa?

A video backstory of Robert's Rebellion that will be on the Blueray Season 5 GOT: Interesting. Thanks, Melifeather. Glad you posted that. Funny that Barristan is given Jaime's role as the Kingsguard to hear the news of times a changin' from Rhaegar. Sounded to me like Barristan was the Omni-KG, in that tale. He took everybody's place - Jaime Lannister, Gerold Hightower, Jonathan Darry, etc.

Why all the secrecy? linkI'd say Jon Snow. But could also be Lady Stoneheart. ETA last season, the press versions were leaked if you remember. I scrambled to watch them online before I ran into spoilers. Was a huge deal over at Westeros, several bans over it.
