I did notice this one small error. It is labeled A Feast for Crows. I found it between A Storm of Swords and A Dance with Dragons.

I must say that while these small errors are annoyances for you, they are very humorous to me! Thanks for the laughs!

Gah! Now I'm going to be self-conscious when writing my essays! I'll be thinking, what will Snowfyre find?

Yep. That was a mistake, for sure.

And of course, can't forget the early ones: A Game of Thrones - PrologueThe Ten Day Week. This is either an error, or some huge clue nobody's figured out yet. But you'll find it hard to convince me the standard calendar week in Rhaesh Andahli isn't Seven days. Ai-ai-ai! (SMDH)

Will is a warg? Cuz that's the only way he could have drawn a watch in the last week.

That one I've explained in my head like this:
Week 1 is days 1-7 Week 2 is days 8-14
Any day in week two, someone can refer to "the past week" and mean Week 1 naturally enough. So nine days prior would not be impossible.

And now I've written "week" often enough that it seems like it's not really English. The last time this happened, it was "buoy."

The last time this happened, it was "buoy." Which is pronounced 'boy', btw.

So nine days prior would not be impossible. That is similar to what I have thought. The past week. You explained that better than I would have though I won't give George a free pass. He has problems with time.

In GoT, Benjen saunters on down to Winterfell for a party. Meanwhile, we're told over and over again that once you take the Black, that's it, no more family. There are no other characters who visit home, ever, yet it sounds like Benjen does it often enough to be friendly with Jon.
So, does Benjen get special treatment? If so, why? What does this tell us?
Or... is this an error, and GRRM hadn't quite solidified the rules of taking the Black?
