Game of Thrones premieres the new season in 39 days! Let's hear your predictions about what the show will confirm for us readers. Please use spoiler tags! I think the show will give us some major books spoilers. The main ones for me: 1). Bran the Timelord! 2). Bran the Timelord as the reason Hodor hodors 3). Jon Snow, the one true legitimate heir ... to the throne of the Night's King 4). Lyanna was not at the ToJ!

Bran will be the one that revives Jon not Mel.

Agree with you WeaselPie, all except for the last one. That particular detail is too big of a spoiler for GRRM to ever allow the show to reveal before the book version. PoG - very creative! That would be awesome!
Will Ghost puke some weirwood paste into his mouth? Because it's a lesser theory of mine that Bran is already technically dead, just wedded to the weirwoods so that it seems like he's still alive. Another because, I think Bran already had the ability to slip into the weirwoods because he's a skinchanger, so why would he need the paste to do that?

GRRM is on record at the ole Not-a-Blog as saying the show will wrap before the books unless the show takes ten seasons. Abandon all hope!

GRRM is on record at the ole Not-a-Blog as saying the show will wrap before the books unless the show takes ten seasons. Abandon all hope! They've already made changes on the show, killing off Stannis, using Sansa instead of fake Arya, making Robb's wife Talisa from Volantis and a Dr no less, skipping Lady Stoneheart, killed off Mance, Killed Selmy, we never see Jorah M putting the moves on Dany, having Doreah and Xaro together and then killing them in an empty vault, Tyrion never crosses paths with Aegon, Rolly, Jon Con, etc, Jaime's super-stupid trip to Dorne, Loras is arrested for being gay, Brienne fights the Hound, oh geez...I'm sure there's more.

Davos is going to die this season. My guess would be in the first four episodes.

Possible spoiler Mel resurrects Jon. I have to admit that I despise the character, in the novels and on the show, and that's my main reason for not wanting this to be true. But it probably is.

Show spoiler based on the previews - Jaime will use the Tyrell army to bust out Loras and Margaery. - Tommen will fall apart at the death of his sister and the imprisonment of his wife, allowing Cersei to take over. - Bran is the one to invade young Walder's body, with the first thing he says to him is Hodor. - We will see the ToJ, possibly with Lyanna and a baby inside, or Ashara with a baby. - Yara/Asha will be the one sent to Dany, instead of Victarion. - Yara/Asha will turn out to be a lesbian and hope to get Dany that way. - Jon will be resurrected by the Cold. He'll rise as wight, but Mel will get the Blue out of him and he will be the show's equivalent of Coldhands. - We'll learn that Mel is also a wight, but of fire. - Alternatively, Bran will invade Ghost and Ghost will flee into Jon, reanimating his body, and Mel will call Jon's spirit back, possibly in the form of a shadowbaby, and this is how Jon becomes a wight/walking dead. - Jorah will die in a fight before he dies of greyscale. - Drogon will get to Dany just as Jorah and Dhaario find her. - Dany will win over the Dothraki and bring them to Meereen to fight off the Sons of the Harpy. I admit the last Jon prediction is a long shot. But it's based on what show watchers will remember and new things we'll learn about this season. Oh and these are show crackpot -- - Jorah's greyscale will allow him to communicate with Drogon and he sends the dragon to get Dany out of Vaes Dothrak.
- Tyrion will get the Sons of the Harpy to fight a war with the Dothraki.

The Tarlys are cast this season. I predict Sam will find out he's adopted.

Ramsey will defeat the Night's Watch at Castle Black but Jon will not be at the Wall having joined forces with the wildlings. Ramsey will become the new Night's king after a fateful encounter with the King of Winter.
Ramsey is not a Bolton but a Stark according to Old Nan's tales of the Night's King. He is the bastard son of Brandon Sr. and Lady Barbrey who sent him to be raised by the Miller's daughter as dictated by custom. After Ned refuses to acknowledge his nephew; Lady Barbrey foists Ramsey off on Roose and seeks her revenge on the Starks because she couldn't be one of them.
She is the pregnant woman that Bran sees coming out of the pool begging the old gods for revenge.
