Jon was resurrected on Easter? That would have been a nice coincidence, but wasn't it May Day? Now that would be more in line with the Oak and Holly King, no?
I think RLJ fans are going to be disappointed when Ned finds Ashara in that tower and not Lyanna.

Well...I guess we sucked at guessing what happens next! So much for my Lem Lemoncloak theory, since Howland stabbed him in the back! The ending credits show Theon going home to the Iron Islands and not Winterfell. The tower of joy scene didn't show us who was in the tower. I did, however like how they went from Bran and Bloodraven immediately to a stormy sea with Gilly and Sam. Tree god to sea god...as Davos said, they're all the same thing! Jon's watch has ended after he kills his assassins. Shaggy Dog is dead? Osha and Rickon are now with Ramsay. Great.

I must say, the opening was very anticlimactic. And Jon saw nothing when he died. No Ghost. Dont know what the hell they are doing with Jon's story line. And no Dawn. Although the Arya beat down is still too much, they did a good job with the training montage. Wrapped that up quickly.

Oh yeah and 'Who's in the tower?' cue baby crying. Really? REALLY?
'Father' and Ned turns when he's not, or is he someone else's father already?

And no Dawn. I'm not too sure about that. He was fighting with two swords but he arrogantly, or maybe gallantly, stops using the right hand one. Plus after being stabbed he drops that sword at his feet and it's Dayne's sword Ned picks up and gives him the coup de grâce with.

I think Ned hearing Bran is just a remake of the weirwood scene with Ned. The toj scene... well, I think I'd rather watch that fan made video that Melifeather posted, again.

Yes that is a nice touch, isn't it! But why is Gilly happy? She's got little reason to be happy even in show terms. She's left her baby behind at the Wall, Maester Aemon has died on their trip and she's going to be left in the care of the man that sent Sam to the Wall because he didn't like him. And yet here's cheery fud going on about how she can read!?

I was thinking that Gilly was happy because she viewed the roiling sea as evidence that the gods were with them. why was one of Ned's men wearing a turban? Arianne had Arys wrap his helmet with silk to feel cooler on his head and to protect from sand storms as the silk can be pulled across the face....so if they're in Dorne they would likely adopt Dornish ways.

There were two kg. Maybe Hightower is in the tower acting the midwife. I watched it again, and I only counted six northmen. Thought there were seven too. And the turban is weird.

Maybe the turban wearer is Dornish?

Well...in the Soiled Knight chapter Arys recalls a historical fight in the Prince's Pass where "three leaves" die. It was actually only two men from House Oakheart and the third was King Daeron I the Young Dragon...so maybe the real fight only involved two Kingsguards, and "the young dragon" is in the tower?
As for the turban...again in the Soiled Knight Arys dresses in disguise as a Dornishman, and since his inversion is Robert Baratheon perhaps the show will try to place a young Robert with Ned?
