It made her angry to see Dareon sitting there so brazen, making eyes at Lanna Sorry for the multiple posts. I should just compile them, but I was jumping around. Didn't someone have a theory that Ashara was jealous of Lyanna? Arya being angry with Dareon making eyes at Lanna seems telling.

A couple of bizarro observations Cat saves Samwell from Terro and Orbelo in the previous chapter. Why is this bizarro? Because if we place "Cat" in the Red Keep during the Sack, then it's quite possible Aegon was saved from Gregor and Amory.
To further mess with your head, Lynesse's er pimp is Tregar Ormollen.I think more than Aegon was saved, its sounds as if Rhaenys was too. Their identities as "cats" swapped for "wolves". You'll have to walk me through those names above in the quoted area...they look and sound similar, but please explain more.

It's a name salad. GRRM does it all the damned time, to elicit an association. Lanna/Lyanna and all that.
Terro Orbello Tregar Ormollen Tregar Gregor Ormollen Amory etc.

neither Ashara nor Lyanna had golden hair...but maybe Rhaella did? Lynesse did. I'll still working on the next part, not sure if I will get back to it tonight. From the wiki: Lynesse Hightower is the youngest daughter of Lord Leyton Hightower. She was the second wife of Ser Jorah Mormont and is now the chief concubine of Tregar Ormollen in Lys. Was this explicitly mentioned in the books, or did somebody just put this in the wiki?

Who is the monster with the dog's head? We know it's The Hound. Arya knows it's The Hound. So why doesn't Arya think it's The Hound? Does Arya ever see Sandor in the dog-helm? I can't remember. A symbolic "monster with a dog's head" might be... a warg. Mmm. I think this should be taken in context - Arya is not Arya when recounting this dream. Arya Stark is having the dream, but Cat of the Canals is thinking about it...trying very hard to think about it as NotArya and dissociate as "no one". It makes sense for Cat not to recognize/name Sandor because CAT doesn't know who Sandor is. Only Arya knows that. Does that make sense? Back to reading!

I believe it's the same chapter where he recounts his tourney win and how he got exiled fled.

Dumping this here...it came up during min's tears of blood thread:
I need to get back to studying the inversions to see if there are more clues as to how Lyanna and Ashara's fates are intertwined. I feel strongly that Arya and Sansa represent the two sides or identities of Lyanna. She starts out as herself a mirrored reflection of Arya and then becomes Sansa/Ashara. If you recall Sansa went to the Eyrie, but if the inversion theory is true then Lyanna was brought west instead of east. And Arya went to Braavos which reflected in a mirror could be Bear Island. I'm beginning to wonder if Arya in Braavos is actually mirroring Ashara in Bear Island, and Lyanna was forced into taking what was meant to be Ashara's fate? Tywin could have had Lyanna taken south to be found at the tower of joy to complete the fraud of the "kidnapping", but the three men at the tower would be Lannister men. Meanwhile when Ned arrives at Starfall there is no Ashara there, but he must somehow know Ashara got away and is covering for her by saying she jumped to her death.

On second thought Sansa and Arya are the mirrored reversal of Ashara. Ashara likely escaped Kings Landing like Sansa did by changing the color of her hair. Who would have been her Littlefinger I wonder?
