Unbeknownst to many, scholars and celebrities have opined on the likelihood of "R+L=J" since the Dawn Age. Every now and then, we stumble across these humble offerings of insight and prophecy - or ignorance and idiocy, as the case may be.
In the event you yourself come upon one of them, please be so kind as to copy it here to this thread. And should the statement itself require a bit of interpretation, please provide that as well. A simply "For" or "Against RLJ" would be fine.
Thank you.

It is a capital mistake to theorize before one has data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts. ~Arthur Conan Doyle Against RLJ and more.Good one! One I have revisited a few times, myself.

And I agree that Doyle (and certainly Sherlock Holmes) would be very much AGAINST RLJ. Here's another:
-- Sherlock Holmes. ( AGAINST RLJ. Among other mare's nests, theories, and bandwagons. )

I am a fan of Ser Arthur Conan Doyle and you all have listed a couple of my favorite quotes. Here's my other favorites: ‘You see, but you do not observe. The distinction is clear.’ Against RLJ. ‘There is nothing more deceptive than an obvious fact.’ Against RLJ and any theory that harps on mundane miniscule symbolism. I ought to know by this time that when a fact appears to be opposed to a long train of deductions it invariably proves to be capable of bearing some other interpretation.’ (Against all theories that aint Robert Baratheon as Jon's father) I kid ofcourse. when you have eliminated all which is impossible, then whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.’ Against RLJ.

A more directly applicable set of remarks, from the New Yorker:
Quite a set of conclusions from a supposedly intellectual periodical, no?
But I still have no idea what the show is going to do in this area. She could actually be right about all that for Show World; I have no confidence GRRM told D&D about this, any more than he told them about the Popsicles.
I will say that if I were Ned, and Lyanna had just told me R+L=J, and I were staring at a little blonde baby like that, my first thought would be: He's going to grow up to look just like Rhaegar and get us both killed. And I would know much better that to raise him as my bastard in my own home.
But somehow, this blindingly obvious notion has never crossed the minds of most reviewers and fans.

It's a good thing that the baby "just happened" to look like Lyanna and not a silver/blonde haired and indigo eyed baby with Stark features.
