Was anyone else feeling not too kindly towards Olivia? Sheesh, even Father Gabriel was able to think quickly and pull off a ruse to keep people safe for now.

I was thinking it was dumb to keep an inventory list. If they never had the list then Negan wouldn't know what they had.

And why structure a weapons inventory like a library - keeping track of what's been taken out - without jotting down who has it? Like, how could she be so certain (and stupidly tell Negan she was 100% certain the inventory was correct) that the two guns were absolutely missing, yet have no idea who had them? Wouldn't they have been missing for a very long time? And she never told anyone? And why wouldn't Michonne's gun have been included in a weapon inventory?

As for Michonne's gun, it wasn't an original one from Alexandria. She took it from one of Negan's men and kept it hidden this whole time.

The countless spurned opportunities to take him out are already annoying me. Especially when you consider that the majority of the Saviours are essentially prisoners and would likely thank Rick's crew for releasing them!

Yes, it's a matter of psychology. Fear of the unknown of what would happen. Would he be shot before he can get the strike in or the reaction afterwards.
On a separate note different fan sites are saying Rick and Daryl were communicating via morse code. They point out the poster in Rick's house of the conversion of code to the alphabet. Then they say Daryl's rapid eye blinks spelled out I EAST, or rather that Negan's compound is east of Alexandria. Then Nick was replying back by striking the bat on the ground that he understood.

They should have sent a sniper up there. But, Negan was a week early, so they weren't expecting him...but surely they heard his trucks coming?

Does anyone know exactly how much time passed between RickCo arriving back at Alexandria and NeganCo showing up there? I understand grief and everything, but, um...was there no other planning? I'm not understanding why they didn't take advantage of even the tiniest bit of opportunity to 1) rip up that inventory ledger like omg how stupid can you be and create a fake one like truckers used to with their driver logs, and 2) divest themselves of some goods by hiding them in a remote location Terminus-style. I mean, they had time to get Maggie over to Hilltop and dig a fake grave, so... ? I'm holding out some hope that this is all part of the ruse and they're working up to something, because there was a lot of WTF in this episode for me.

Does anyone know exactly how much time passed between RickCo arriving back at Alexandria and NeganCo showing up there? I think in Ep 1 of the season, Negan said "See you in x weeks" or a month or something, but I'd have to rewatch. And I agree entirely. Everything about the inventory was ridiculous.
