Does anyone know exactly how much time passed between RickCo arriving back at Alexandria and NeganCo showing up there? I understand grief and everything, but, um...was there no other planning? I'm not understanding why they didn't take advantage of even the tiniest bit of opportunity to 1) rip up that inventory ledger like omg how stupid can you be and create a fake one like truckers used to with their driver logs, and 2) divest themselves of some goods by hiding them in a remote location Terminus-style. I mean, they had time to get Maggie over to Hilltop and dig a fake grave, so... ? I'm holding out some hope that this is all part of the ruse and they're working up to something, because there was a lot of WTF in this episode for me. On "Talking dead." It was mentioned that its only been three days.

I wonder if they take into account that some viewers are recording the show to watch later so that they can watch Westworld or Poldark? All three shows are popular and are on at the same time.

I hope it's decent. Premiere aside, the rest of the season has been sortof for me. I know this is part of the TWD season pattern, but this year seems slower than most.

Yeah, I don't like how each episode has centered on one person and we don't hear about the rest for weeks and weeks. I mean, how many weeks has it been since we've seen Carol and the King?

The format of last night's ep was so much better - I prefer having divided time between the split groups rather than a single ep devoted to one person.

Me too, and I liked that the group was ready to kick some ass.

Yeah, the format definitely helped although having something of substance finally happen was the biggest difference to me. I thought it was a decent episode although Rosita missing that shot was pretty ridiculous. She's ex-military and only about 10 feet away! Hopefully Carol is going to follow in Rick's footsteps and break out of her pacifist depression (for want of a better term).

I swear, had I been an Alexandria member I think I would have grabbed Lucille and used it on her myself. Thanks a lot, you dummy! Good thinking! Geeeeezzzzz.

Both Carol and Morgan do not know that Glenn and Abraham are dead. I think when they learn they will change their minds.

It was decent.I knew that kiss ass Spencer was going to get ghosted and was happy when it happened. But that move by Rosita was dumb. She should have known better.Yes true she got a useless character killed but it was a dumbass move.
Poor Eugene.Dude can't catch a break.I feel like they are moving to fast. For some reason i feel like we are closer to seeing the Whisperes soon.We are clearly getting the triune ahmog together with Hilltop,Alexandria and the Kingdom.
I think we needed one more season before they dealt with Negan.Shiva hasn't gotten enough screen time.

Rosita missing that shot was pretty ridiculous and maybe more ridiculous Negan didn't kill her immediately I liked it though, and I agree with everyone that the season suffered with the single-character episodes. You could basically watch the premiere and the mid-season finale and skip everything in the middle. Daryl's episodes/scenes were probably the best. Maybe Tara will recruit the woman on the island? .I knew that kiss ass Spencer was going to get ghosted and was happy when it happened. But that move by Rosita was dumb. She should have known better.Yes true she got a useless character killed but it was a dumbass move. Also super happy that Spencer bit it. I just hope they have someone who can read Latin to find the rest of the stashes. .. I need to admit I was happy losing Olivia. She dropped the ball way back during the firearm confiscation...

For some reason i feel like we are closer to seeing the Whisperes soon. I assumed that's who the mysterious booted person was that was watching from a distance....one of the Whisperers. I won't be surprised if that plot is introduced in the finale.

and maybe more ridiculous Negan didn't kill her immediately Yeah although he has some previous for killing someone else as punishment a la Daryl and Glenn. Of course Rosita's transgression was a lot more serious. .. I need to admit I was happy losing Olivia. She dropped the ball way back during the firearm confiscation... On the Talking Dead I think they said that Olivia had become a really popular character with the audience. It surprised me as I found her extremely irritating. I assumed that's who the mysterious booted person was that was watching from a distance....one of the Whisperers. I won't be surprised if that plot is introduced in the finale. The spoiler tags mention the comic so I just wanted to be safe. Don't 2 years pass in the comics between the defeating Negan and encountering the Whisperers? Obviously the show doesn't have to follow the comics exactly but I feel like that gap makes sense with regards to the establishment of the new power dynamics between the communities and the Negan-less Saviours.
Unrelated, but the Whisperers' border? Brutal! Also on talking dead Kirkman suggested the boot is related to the barge where Rick and Aaron found the guns. Maybe a new, non-comic character?
