Bran the Timelord is more than confirmed in the show at this point. And Petyr Baelish knows about it.

I'm getting bored with D&D's little "Jon is a Targaryen" hints. "But I'm not a Stark..." *low-flying dragon sails over* COME ON
Actually liking the mimicry of the Ellaria/Tyene deaths at the command of the Mad Queen w/r/t Rickard and Brandon dying at Aerys' pleasure. Given that Ellaria is a pacifist in the books and Arianne is the main Dornish antagonist, makes me wonder if we will see this scene played out between Doran and Arianne instead in the series (provided we ever get it).
Intrigued by the Varys/Mel exchange. "Kinvara" mentioned Varys' death last season too - clearly he's a goner, but I'm insanely curious as to how that happens.
The whole Jon/Dany bits bored me to tears. I seriously don't even care what happens to either of them, really.
Bran has officially turned into Doctor Manhattan - link to humanity almost fully separated to the point of apathy. I love it. Let's hope he goes full nuclear at some point.

It does appear that we probably got full confirmation of Bran as Timelord. For purposes of the book, I think we'll find that he opened his own third eye, and he had a hand in the creation of the White Walkers. This is why they are armored and carry long swords. Bran is absolutely nuts over knights, so he made them look the part.
They finally gave Littlefinger something that piqued my curiousity a bit. For the last couple of seasons they've done absolutely nothing with his character.
And while yes, I think they're going to try and do some ham handed clues linking Jon to Targaryens, I think ultimately they are going to pull a swerve at the end. I did notice that Dany again talked about not remembering her time on Dragonstone. It seems the show is going to try and reveal all of the mysteries in the last season, without having done any set up for them in the previous six. Which is irritating.

Bran is absolutely nuts over knights ...Bran was (partially) the KotLT, I'm certain at this point. He "heard" Howland through the weirwood when he prayed for help at the tourney, and warged him. And it will turn out that Bran was Bran the Builder, etc. He's arriving so weary at Winterfell because he's lived his thousand lives, and we're only witnessing the most recent version of events. Littlefinger gave a big howdy do to Mel's "eating the dragon tail" cycling/recycling of history too, which of course ties in with Bran the Timelord. I'm getting bored with D&D's little "Jon is a Targaryen" hints. "But I'm not a Stark..." *low-flying dragon sails over* COME ON We can only guess what they'll come up from here on. heh. But maybe they'll surprise us and make Dany and Jon twins. I've all but given up on the books.

It moves too damn fast! Bran barely makes it through the Wall and the next time he's on screen he's at Winterfell, and showing absolutely no emotion. Euron too is dragging Yara by the neck through Kings Landing, and then the next scene he's at Casterly Rock killing Unsullied!
Lady Olenna got her digs in and let Jaime and Cersei know she poisoned Joffrey, and yet poison was the preferred "humane" way to execute her with. The look on Jaime's face was priceless, but I was expecting him to kill her with his sword, and I think that's what she wanted.
Who the heck is the Greyjoy that pulled Theon from the sea?
And Tyrion is looking like a failure. Cersei and Jaime are outwitting him at every turn. I'm guessing this is the stage to get Dany to the Wall?
And why do Mel and Varys have to die in Westeros?

Yea, Euron is making great time sailing back and forth from King's Landing to Casterly Rock. But then again the show has been consistently awful about that (and the books really aren't much better).
I thought the Olenna scene was pretty good. As far as the books go, I think Olenna was part of the planning of the poisoning, but it was Sansa who actually dropped the gem into the pie. I also think the plan was to poison Tyrion (to free Sansa up) but Joffrey unexpectedly ate it.
Good question as to who pulled Theon from the sea. I guess some nameless Greyjoy captain who survived the assault. My first thought was perhaps Victarion, but I doubt the show will start brining in new characters now.
And yes Tyrion is failing spectacularly. I first thought that the show was just being lazy by portraying Tyrion's ridiculous battle plans as some sort of work of genius, but it appears that they are showing how awful Tyrion's plans actually were. You would assume that Tyrion is too smart for this. I wonder if perhaps he is purposely sabotaging Danaerys?
As for your last question, I assume it is something that Mel saw in her flames. My guess is the show needs fiery sacrifices to bring about some weirdness at the end. Perhaps it has to do with warging the dragons.

All of this.... The whole Tyrion thing is throwing me as his character was the one that hooked me back in 2011 and started me on this journey with the rest of you. I'm coming to the realization that my problem with this season is that I don't seem to know any of the characters anymore. It's like they have changed from what I remember in the books and the previous 6 seasons. If I'm just sticking with the show the characters that are acting as I would expect are Qyburn, Sam and Jorah (although he has had a small part thus far with being confined to the cell in Old town). The breakdown on the actors from this past episode shows a Brendan Cowell as Harrag. Sounds like a Greyjoy. I also realized this week that Randall Tarly's son Dickon, played byTom Hopper was not the same actor who played Sam's brother last season. I recognized Hopper because he was "Billy" from the Black Sails series that just ended back in the Winter. Not much of a part thus far, he has been in two episodes and said a total a four words...My name is Dickon. A final thought on Bran as the Time Lord. I've very much enjoyed everyone's theories, but I hope, truly hope that they don't play this card...not in the show and not in the book. This will be big disappointment for me if this comes to fruition.

Littlefinger gave a big howdy do to Mel's "eating the dragon tail" cycling/recycling of history too, which of course ties in with Bran the Timelord. Right? Even though he should have been twirling his moustache while giving his little speech, it nonetheless was all wibbly wobbly timey wimey and omniscient weirwoody. But maybe they'll surprise us and make Dany and Jon twins. I am totally expecting this, tbh. Seriously. The Reader's Digest version of GOT S7 is not sitting well with me. Just like last season, D&D don't give the viewers any concept of the passage of time so we have no idea when the hell anything is happening (which is probably a good thing, because then we can't nail them on plot holes and continuity errors). But it still drives me nuts. Meera hauling Bran from the Wall to Winterfell, how long did that take? Did Sam cure Jorah's greyscale in two weeks or 6 months? How in the hell did Euron manage to defeat Yara, capture Ellaria and drag her back to King's Landing, and still manage to make it across the freaking continent to Casterly Rock at the same time that Grey Worm and the Unsullied show up there, even though Grey Worm sailed from Dragonstone at the same time as Yara? I'm coming to the realization that my problem with this season is that I don't seem to know any of the characters anymore. It's like they have changed from what I remember in the books and the previous 6 seasons. Agree...and they have totally changed. Even taking out the huge deviations from the book characters, D&D have ruined the show characters as well. Tyrion and Jaime are shadows of what they were in the early seasons. Shoot, even Varys and Melisandre seem deflated and poor imitations of their formerly great characters. I know Carice was pregnant for some of the early filming time and I figured she might have a reduced role this year, but still.... Just very disheartening thus far, especially since this is probably the only ending we'll ever see for this fantastic series. I want to punch GRRM in his slow procrastinating face.

I too share your sentiments about the Time Lord theory.I enjoy it but I still believe its more body snatching with the original BTB with the COTF help just luring Skinchangers and taking their bodies to cheat death.

Just caught, when Dany and Jon are providing exposition for the audience chatting, and Dany says she named 2 dragons after her 2 dead brothers, then says Jon has also lost 2 brothers and Jon agrees. The only problem is that at this point Jon would think he has three dead brothers.
Twin set-up alert.
