I will say that if I were Ned, and Lyanna had just told me R+L=J, and I were staring at a little blonde baby like that, my first thought would be: He's going to grow up to look just like Rhaegar and get us both killed. And I would know much better that to raise him as my bastard in my own home. But somehow, this blindingly obvious notion has never crossed the minds of most reviewers and fans. It's a good thing that the baby "just happened" to look like Lyanna and not a silver/blonde haired and indigo eyed baby with Stark features.

On another note, we have no idea what Lyanna said in those undiscernable moment when Bran couldn't hear anything(By the way couldn't Bran just ...you know move closer or better yet lean in?) Showrunner hedging just in case the alternative turns out to be something else. They would probably say fans jumped to conclusions. Or do you all think they went to far with the added addition?

(By the way couldn't Bran just ...you know move closer or better yet lean in?) Not only that, just like all of us rewinded that scene to try and figure it out... so can Bran. He can go back as many times as he wants and get as close as he needs. Will this happen? No hahaaa. And yes, they went way too far with the additions to the scene. And other than the added dialogue, the segue from baby eyes to Jon was so stupid I couldn't even.

Ohhh that aint the worse part....The worse part is having Meera ask Bran if he's sure.Having Bran respond he's the 3ec now and ...wait for it "He needs to be ready for them" Soooo where does he go? To the toj.Wow!!

More from The Usual Suspects of Ice and Fire. This scene features: - Customs Agent KUJAN, (an RLJer); and
- Sargeant RABIN, (a Heretic)
(I'd say it presents a decent analogy of the situation amongst ASOIAF readers...)
INT: RABIN'S OFFICE(Kujan stares solemnly at the bulletin board, drinking from Rabin's coffee cup. Rabin sits at the desk, sifting through the mound of papers as though considering organizing them once and for all.)
RABIN (the Heretic): "You still don't know shit." KUJAN (the RLJer): "I know what I wanted to know about Rhaegar." RABIN: "Which is shit." KUJAN: "No matter. George R. R. Martin will have to know how close we came." RABIN: "Keyser Soze or not, if Rhaegar's alive he'll never come up again." KUJAN: "I'll find him." RABIN: "Waste of time." KUJAN: (to himself) "A rumor is not a rumor that doesn't die..." RABIN: "What?" KUJAN: "Nothing. Something I -- forget it." (He shakes his head, gestures to the desk) "Man, you're a fucking slob." RABIN: (regarding the mess of his office) "Yeah. It's got its own system though. It all makes sense when you look at it right. You just have to step back from it, you know? You should see my garage, now that's a horror show... "
But IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE FILM - DON'T SPOIL YOURSELF by reading through this script!

It's got its own system though. It all makes sense when you look at it right. You just have to step back from it, you know? Apt words in this context. If TWOW comes out this year, the media will be full of GRRM Fooled the World!! stories. But he didn't... as nine straight RLJ polls, taken in mid-2015 on Sable Hall, will show.
