I wish I'd saved copies of the reread we all did on Carlton Place of Tyrion's chapters. Hmm, I wonder if maybe slowfyre (ghost chorus) might have tucked something away? Possibly? Somewhere safe? Yes, I might be able to pull up some of that stuff. What exactly are you looking for - one of your own posts?

Yes, I might be able to pull up some of that stuff. What exactly are you looking for - one of your own posts? Yes please! I remember a couple of essays or long-arsed posts about how Tyrion's arrival to Illyrio's manse was a literal birth, his being spilled out of the wine barrel to the floor of the cellar. Then there was another one about his 3 trials through water, and how symbolic each one was. Don't know if I actually posted that one though, we ended on such a sad note. Sorry Min.

I tried the link to Carlton Place, but it didn't work. Wasn't that LynnS/min's reread thread?

It could be an inside joke about Tyrion; since he basically thinks of himself as revenant let back into the world especially considering the reference to Simon Bar Sinister. He is Jorah's cargo after all. Yes, I see. I wish I'd saved copies of the reread we all did on Carlton Place of Tyrion's chapters. Hmm, I wonder if maybe snowfyre might have tucked something away? Possibly? Somewhere safe? I'm on a different computer to when we did those essays sadly, but I remember one of them was how I paralleled exactly this, Tyrion's literal rebirth through water. They completey changed out their server package. I'll see if they are archived anywhere.

They completey changed out their server package. I'll see if they are archived anywhere. That would be brilliant. Yeah, I had to re-register the last time I tried to login there. My username and password no longer worked when I tried it.

Sorry, the data from the old forum wasn't kept. That's too bad, really. They should've archived it somewhere. Regardless... I saved a copy of several of those Tyrion re-read threads. I'll dig them up tonight, and send them your way Ser Duncan.

Most of the stuff on the old forum was just local chat and politics. I think you could access the old site for a time before they closed it down but that was over a year ago I think. It's a local business that provides a community forum as a courtesy. It gets pretty hot during elections and complaints from campaigns were distracting from running the business. A few times he considered shutting it down for good. LOL So I guess he just didn't want to keep hold of all that stuff. The GoT forum was a very small portion of the total data compounded over 10 years or so.
