Was Robert so large as to have a massive skull I can find nothing about Clegane's facial appearance on the slab jaw and heavy brow but i don't picture Robert with neanderthal features. Robert is supposed to be every maiden's fantasy in his youth. There are dozens upon dozens of references to Robert as 'strong' as well. So I'm sticking with the head switch. So in terms of Vader references, we've got: 1) Dany dreaming of Rhaegar in his black armor; when she opens the visor, she sees herself 2) Jon telling Benjen "you're not my father"

This is a curious statement by Mormont along the lines of "the things we do for love".
A Game of Thrones - Jon IX
Jon opened a shuttered window, took the flagon of beer off the outside ledge, and filled a horn. Hobb had given him a lemon, still cold from the Wall. Jon crushed it in his fist. The juice trickled through his fingers. Mormont drank lemon in his beer every day, and claimed that was why he still had his own teeth. "Doubtless you loved your father," Mormont said when Jon brought him his horn. "The things we love destroy us every time, lad. Remember when I told you that?" "I remember," Jon said sullenly. He did not care to talk of his father's death, not even to Mormont.
Mormont is talking about Jorah and isn't it curious that he takes lemon in his beer every day. I wonder if he imported lemon trees to Bear Island rather than planting them so he had a supply. That could account for Dany's early memory of the lemon tree. The trees wouldn't necessarily be planted but kept in a pot and replaced when necessary. A practice he continues at the Wall by importing lemons and keeping them frozen.
The things we do for love theme and being killed by what we love is everywhere in the story. How does this apply to Jon or Robert or Ned, or Lyanna.

There is a stormy side to Jon. People in the other place point to this as evidence of Jon's dragon blood; but Robert was just as stormy in his temperment. Reading through Jon's POV in GoT is interesting for it's foreshadowing of events:
Tell Rob that I'm going to command the Night's Watch and keep him safe, so he might as well take up needlework with the girl and have Mikken melt down his sword for horseshoes." - Jon to Tyrion
Another suggestive bit about Robert and Jon:
"...My sleeping cell is in Hardin's Tower." "That's the one with the broken battlement,no? Shattered stone in the yard below, and a lean to it like our noble King Robert after a long night's drinking?"
A Dance with Dragons
Hardin's Tower becomes the place of residence of the wildling women who accept Jon's call.[2] It is called Harlot's Tower by men who mistake it for a brothel. The giant Wun Weg Wun Dar Wun sleeps in its entryway to guard it.

Oh that's nice...My Yes the temperament i've made note off myself. But of-course some people chose to see it as a reference to something nutty Viserys talked about when he wanted to torture his sister.Funny enough Hardin's tower was likened by Tyrion to represent a a leaning Robert after drinking.Tower of course his another phallic symbol.Jon was sleeping in a leaning phallic symbol that represented a drunk Robert.
