And don't forget - in the show Dany saw Drogo and her dead kid Beyond the Wall. Still perplexes me what this means. thanks for bringing this up, because it has to mean something

I remember this theory! I'd have to go read the whole thread again as it has been a while, but I agree that the whole deal wasn't really about what DANY was doing, it was about what magical things were going on around her at the time. She benefited from fortunate opportunity.

I actually linked the wrong theory I think. The one I'm thinking of was probably posted by the actual Nightflyer and I'm gonna have to go find it if I'm gonna share it with you. But what it posited was something like - Rhaego lives and was transported to another time/place and will still be the Stallion who Mounts the World in some context.

I saw the one on Reddit about Rhaego traveling back through time and swapping bodies with Tyrion, or something like that.
It was nuts, but it oddly made sense, too.

I wouldn't be surprised if someone retrieved his body and transported it elsewhere. Again, Saltpans....anyone remember "Lonesome Dove" when Call hauled Gus' body halfway across Texas so he could be buried on Clara's land? The corpse was packed in salt. Yeah, I remember that. So Rhaegar and his rubies washing up over the years at the Quiet Isle. Like little blood drops floating on the water. Anyway, the seventh ruby that the Brothers of the Quiet Isle, of the Faith of the Seven, are waiting for is the Stranger. (At least in my mind.) A.k.a. the living dead god. Sorry, don't know where I'm going with that.

Richard Lonmouth is barely mentioned in the books as Rhaegar's former squire. I'm not familiar with Lady Gwyn's theory. Do you have a link for it? The Queenmaker chapter seems to imply that Arthur defected and his cloak turned piss yellow. Hopefully more clues arise in future inversion chapters...I haven't quite got it figured out yet, but I think I'm on the right trail.

Wow, thanks for that link. I think the OP is bang on and if there is an inverted character for the MMD; this looks like a good profile to work off. Her ululating song, a shuddering wail becoming shrill and loud and full of agony reminds me of the making of Robert Strong who's screams so upset Cersei; that he was moved to the lower dungeons. If MMD was the motherly type; then are we looking for the fatherly type? If she was a healer serving the sheep people; are we looking for a healer rejected by the grey sheep? If she was reluctant to use powers ancient and strong; is the opposite someone who openly experiments with those powers?

I wonder if Chains is Maester Walys? Either that or he's Ulmer up at the Wall.

I'm getting my chapter/page lists done again and then I will look at every reference for Master Walys provided someone hasn't already done that. Thanks for posting the Tent/TOJ analysis. Now I understand how the inversions work!
